Movie: Aferim!

[TRAILER]1835. A crusty lawman and his naive son mount their horses and set off to retrieve a runaway slave for a wealthy landowner. It's an old school black & white Western, but this isn't the West. This is Wallachia 1835 and constable Costandin and his son Ioniță have been hired by the boyar to capture Roma slave Carfin. Romanian filmmaker Radu Jude gives us a rigidly hierarchical world where abuse flows steadily downward and obsequiousness flows steadily upward.
