Two long pieces of prose writing that have interested me lately are Robert Ashley'sCrashand Samuel Beckett'sWorstward Ho. Notably, both were finished when the authors were unquestionably -old-; Beckett was 76, Ashley 83.
I am interested in the shared feeling between these works, and would like to read other works by people who were 75+ when the work was finished. What can you recommend that meets this criterion?posted by solariontoWriting & Languageat 10:41 PM -19 answers
