||What are some best practices for building a printed archive of photos?

OK, so after two decades of shooting, I have many thousands of digital photographs that I would love to keep for perpetuity. I’m good on digital backups, but I can’t help but think there’s no substitute for printed photos. I’d like to create an archive of print photos that could exist past my death.
